Preliminary Layout

  Portfolio Project  Preliminary Layout Masthead:   Marigold!   Cover:   Main image :   Undecided, but will feature a girl, she will take up most of the page.  Image  wll  have many colorful, bright elements and the girl will be in trendy, stylized indie streetwear.   Typography/font :   For masthead: In  Shrikhand  font, (either 60pt or 72pt), “Marigold!” in white lettering.  Shrikhand  font is chunky and has a vintage  feel, but  is also vintage enough to be trendy and looks appealing as masthead.  Merriweather font for  coverlines  in 24pt size.  Merriwheather  is a font a bit taller and wider than Times New  Roman, and  looks less cold and businesslike; it compliments  S hrikhand  well.  Color depends on  image , but  will most likely be black or white for visibility.   Masthead:  Takes up about the top 6 th  of the magazine,...
