Production 4: Photoshoot! (Finally!)
A few days ago, I asked my friend Madi if she was willing to model for my cover and other images, and she said she would love to! Today, we had our photoshoot in my dining room. I am so happy with how it came out! Madi is the perfect model for the cover; she's a senior like me and looks a little older for her age. She has also gotten accepted into a college, so she wore her sweater from it and brought her laptop as a prop. She looks perfect for appealing to my 16-19 audience of young women. She came over around 2 PM, which was optimal for natural lighting. I used the "portrait mode" on her iPhone to create some depth of field shots where she was in focus. Most of the shots were mid shots of her at my table, surrounded by college pamphlets. The mid shot was used to make her look even to the viewer, and put them at ease and feel as if they're able to relate to her.
